Hi! Love the art style and have been using it for a while!
However I have ran into an issue in Unity 6.3. All of the packaged shaders now throw exceptions about 'redefinition of FragmentOutput' amongst other things. Is Unity 6.3+ something that will be supported?

Thanks.

Hello, it looks like Unity is making some major graphics api changes in 6.x version that broke existing shaders.

I have updated it to support Unity 6.3. Just download it again or email me to get the 6.3 patch.

Hey Cainos, I absolutely love your Top Down content, will also buy your new Top Down content if you're planning on releasing more and it fits the cozy warm medival style.

I have a question about the water shader: Did you get the water shader to work on Unity 6.2 for WebGL builds? I've added your project to my game and got the water shader to work with a few tweaks for standalone builds but for WebGL I had to disable the RenderGraph and then implement the legacy style via Execute function in the Water Render CS File but it's all messed up and I've been stuck trying to fix it for 3 days. Do you have a goto method that worked for you and I'm maybe just doing things wrong or have you not yet tried to get it to work in newer versions with WebGL?

Kind regards, Moorky

Edit: In case you have not yet implemented it to work for Web builds on Unity 6+, we could collab and implement it together if you want, I almost got it to work but it still looks a little messed up

Much thanks for telling me about this problem. I will look into it right away.

Try disable Auto Graphics API and change Graphics API to WebGPU in Project Settings>Player>Other Settings

I can make a WebGL build in Unity 6.2 with the water rendererd corretly  on this setting.

You're a saint, thank you!

Hey buddy, I got to the phase where I want to use your product and I am stumbling on something odd. The PSD you added, it does not look like the design PSD? Its a presentation PSD by the looks of it. E.g. the trees have no layers at all, It is of no use like this. All flowers, grass etc combined in a single layer. Any chance we can have the design version please?

Hello, it is the original psd. I was just drawing into a single layer.

I am very sorry it does not meet your needs. Maybe request a refund?

Hey, no of course not. The art is as advertised. My expectations are listed nowhere after all. I was hoping that the parts were in separate layers to allow for quick iteration. Thank you for the fast reply.

Hello, are you expecting each plant to be on a separate layer, or do you need the tree’s trunk and leaves split into different layers so you can add a wavy effect to the leaves or something like that?

Yes that would be brilliant. I did not look at the buildings yet but they are done perfectly, all parts and shadows in separate layers. As a general rule of thumb, if it has a different color, we love it in a separate layer so we can change it at runtime.  The larger/detailed the object, the more important it becomes.

Apologies for filling up the comment thread, i could not find an email address. Feel free to shoot me an email if anything is unclear still.

we definitely need more top-down stuff from you. Keep it up!

Just bought this. The style is terrific. Kudos!

Do you happen to be working on an interior asset pack (i.e., interior of any of the buildings from your Village pack)? If be very interested in purchasing that also.

Not yet, but i definitly would like to make one.

hey, does this come with the psd files? If not, is that possible?

hello, psd files added.

Hi just wonder that your asset pack is suitable for godot project?

I am not quite sure. Just try my free assets to test it.

For this asset, the sprites are generally OK but the water shader will not work in Godot.

What palette did you use? Also great art!

i do not use palette.

Do you have a top-down character pack?

(-1)

not yet

I hope to see it in the future 😁

Hey, can I know what the exact Unity version used for the demo is? Thank you!

Hello, could you please tell me the height of the demo character? Thank you!!

29 pixel

Do you take commissions?

Sorry, I am unable to do commission works.

I do wish you make a video on how to use shader to make water like that ^^ much appreciated <3

Your top-down asset is really good, and there's a water shader so beauty, which is awesome and it is very valuable to me. please create more top-down assets, I will always support you. I bought most of your asset: U-Store and there, and i am very satisfied.

Great work I'll be picking this up soon

Hi! I really love this tileset and wondered if you are planning on doing interior sets for it in the future?

(+2)

yes

That is great! I will be sure to pick this up then! I cannot wait to see more of this set!

Hiya, this looks fantastic. Question on the buildings. Are the 49 buildings customisable in the tileset (walls, roofs, etc), or are they a single sprite per building?

(+1)

Not customizable, a single sprite per building

Cool, good to know. Also, I'm going to be importing this into a different engine. I'm assuming that there are PNGs of everything in the download, like in your other top-down pack? Also, curious on the water edge animations. Are they a shader or an animation itself?

Yes.

The water is made using shader.

Great. Thank you again, and I look forward to using these when I start building my next town.
